Pagudpud, that tiny Ilocos Norte town at the tip of northern Luzon, deserves a whole blog entry. Unfortunately, I cannot come up with it just yet, three months after my last trip, but this remains in my bucket list and I know I would have to cross it out sooner rather than later.

I took this photo on April 3, 2010, Black Saturday, when we hied off into the nine-hour trip all the way from La Union on Good Friday, stopping more than once in the 400-kilometer Ilocos strip for sleep, until we reached this sleepy town, where you can readily take a jeep to Aparri, the northernmost tip of Luzon Island.

Until I manage to come up with my full-length blog about this ATM-less resort town, this will have to do. So long, Pagudpud.
